FAQ
The Ebony Bee Coffee is a private-label coffee brand built around bold flavor, playful design, and fresh small-batch roasting through trusted U.S. roasting partners. We don’t believe coffee has to look boring to taste serious. Our bags may be loud, funny, pretty, or weird — but the coffee inside is selected to be smooth, flavorful, and worth waking up for.
Where does your coffee come from?
Our coffees are sourced and roasted through professional roasting partners, primarily Temecula Coffee Roasters and Old Chicago Coffee Co. The Ebony Bee Coffee curates the lineup, builds the brand experience, and selects coffees that fit our style: bold, flavorful, and a little unforgettable.
Is the coffee roasted fresh?
Our coffee is roasted in frequent small batches and shipped directly to customers so it is not sitting around on a retail shelf for months. We do not use grocery-store-style inventory where bags can sit before purchase.
Do you roast the coffee yourself?
Not in-house. We work with professional roasting and fulfillment partners so we can focus on creating a strong coffee lineup, distinctive branding, and a smooth customer experience.
Is this private label coffee?
Yes. The Ebony Bee Coffee is a private-label coffee brand. That means we partner with established roasting professionals for production while we handle the brand, product direction, design, and customer experience.
Who roasts the coffee?
Most of our coffees are roasted and fulfilled by Temecula Coffee Roasters through our fulfillment partner network.
Why use a roasting partner?
Because coffee roasting is a craft, and logistics matter. Partnering with established roasters lets us offer fresh coffee, consistent quality, and a wider variety of blends without pretending we have a warehouse full of beans and forklifts in the back.
How fresh is it compared to grocery store coffee?
Grocery-store coffee can sit in warehouses and on shelves before it reaches your kitchen. Our model is different: coffee is roasted in frequent small batches and shipped directly after fulfillment, so it gets to you without the traditional retail shelf-life delay.
Do you accept returns?
Because coffee is a food product, we generally cannot accept returns once coffee has shipped. But if there is a problem with your order, wrong item, damage, or something clearly off, contact us and we’ll work with you to make it right.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Send us your order number and photos of the package/product. We’ll review it and help with a replacement or solution when appropriate.
Are your flavored coffees naturally flavored?
For flavored coffees, ingredients are listed as Coffee, Natural Flavorings. Non-flavored coffees are listed as Coffee.
